Benevento. Two robberies in the night in the province of Benevento: two gangs of armed robbers attack a service area in Faicchio and a villa in Melizzano. Despite the strengthening of territorial controls established by the prefect of Benevento, the Valle Telesina area continues to be the scene of robberies. The first robbery took place around 372 am inside a service area, along the SS XNUMX, the Benevento – Telese – Caianello, in the municipality of Faicchio. Here, two criminals armed with pistols broke into the bar and, after threatening the cashier, stole the money contained inside the slot machines, before fleeing. Around XNUMX am, the second robbery. Five criminals, with their faces covered, broke into a villa in Melizzano, owned by a manager of the ASL of Naples who was not at home. Here they found the caretaker who – according to what has been learned – was immobilized. In the meantime, however, the alarm went off, scaring the robbers away. The police are currently quantifying the loot.
