IThe Regional Council of Campania has approved the general financial statement of the Campania Region for the 2015 financial year. The bill was approved by a majority with 25 votes in favor, 7 against and 10 abstentions. The document was presented to the chamber by the Democratic Party councilor Francesco Picarone, president of the Budget Commission. Stefano Caldoro, former president of the Region and current leader of the center-right opposition in the Regional Council, also spoke in the chamber, underlining how "today a process of stabilization of the accounts is concluded that allows the Region to close the issue of the financial statements without worries". Caldoro announced the abstention of the center-right while the group of the 5 Star Movement expressed a vote against, as announced in the chamber by councilor Tommaso Malerba.
