The Review Court changed the charge from massacre to attempted murder for the young man for these reasons. The boy acted under stress, nor did he want to kill an indeterminate number of people". The 18-year-old had also decided to leave after a heated discussion, making any intention of revenge disappear. For the court, the boy, with no criminal record and at a young age, despite having a "marked tendency to violence", the detention measure to contain him would be house arrest and not prison.
