Land the Guardia di Finanza of the Latina Provincial Command have executed a preventive seizure order, for a value of approximately 218.000 euros, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Cassino, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, against a Minturno company operating in the gaming sector as well as its administrators, responsible for not having paid the Concessionaire the sum due as "Preu" or "entertainment tax". The investigation conducted by the military of the Formia Group, under the direction of Deputy Prosecutor Roberto Bulgarini Nomi, has allowed the reconstruction of the real structure of the company, which was found to be de facto administered by a person originally from Melito di Napoli. From the elements acquired during the investigation, the person was found to be de facto co-administering the company, together with the legal administrator - also originally from the province of Naples - and held a decision-making role in addition to personally taking care of contacts with the company's interlocutors. Both directors were held liable for the crime of embezzlement because, in their capacity as public service officers within the gaming industry, they failed to pay the sums due as taxes to the Concessionaire and, therefore, to the State. At the end of the investigations, in order to execute the seizure ordered by the GIP of Cassino, on the instructions of the prosecutor in charge, the Guardia di Finanza of the Formia Group carried out searches at the premises already in use by the company, as well as at the homes of the suspects, in order to identify the assets to be seized. At the end of the activities, the Finance Police sealed an apartment in Caivano as well as 29 vehicles (including cars, trucks and motorcycles) and financial assets (insurance policies and prepaid cards), for a total value of 218.113,87 euros.
