LThe Criminal Chamber of Naples is being renewed. Polls will open on Wednesday, November 28 in the new Palace of Justice. Two lists are competing, one led by lawyer Bruno Botti and the other led by lawyer Ermanno Carnevale. Although the names of the lists are similar in the concept of unity and participation they call for (Brotti has chosen 'The Criminal Chamber that you would like', while Carnevale has opted for 'The Criminal Chamber of all'), there are nevertheless marked differences between the two teams, starting with their gaze turned to the past. Ermanno Carnevale and his 'men' are following the path of continuity with the outgoing council led by Attilio Belloni and are aiming to fuel the existing models of 'observers', the study centre and training. Bruno Botti's team, on the other hand, is aiming to erase what has been done and to rebuild a new Criminal Chamber starting from the assumption that all members will be able to contribute their ideas to the construction of the new organism. The ball is now in the voters' court, who will be called to vote tomorrow and choose which list to give their trust to. Ermanno Carnevale, candidate president, is going to the vote with the team composed of: Andrea Abbagnano Tirone, Gaetano Balice, Giuseppe Carandente, Sabina Coppola, Mattia Floccher, Mario Pasquale Fortunato, Roberto Giovene di Girasole and Sergio Schlitzer. Bruno Botti, on the other hand, is fielding Stefano Montone, Giuseppe De Gregorio, Marcello Fattore, Andrea Imperato, Giancarlo Nocera, Roberto Saccomanno, Luigi Sera and Annalisa Senese.
