AInside the hall of the Salesian Institute “Don Bosco”, the newly born Christian Social Party presented the conference “Decent Work and Economic Growth”.
The working table was attended by the President of the Party Dr. Argenziano who greeted speakers and guests before the introduction entrusted to Dr. Sergio Palaia, chartered accountant and Labour consultant who spoke about aid to SMEs, micro-businesses and Smart Factories.
Following Dr. Pietro Appollonio, National Coordinator of the Christian Social Party; Dr. Francesco Tartaglione, European Parliament official spoke about European Financial Instruments for the development of SMEs; Dr. Pietro Del Re, National Secretary of the Christian Social Party, introduced the topic of Training and the development of work activities.
Working to Live and not living to work, was the watchword of the speakers who, in agreement, illustrated how opportunities for work and growth are lost due to the inefficiency of the State which has ensured that European funds, which are there, are not used appropriately to increase growth and work in Italy, to help companies, thanks to the little knowledge that administrators have in the use of funds. Money then returned.
A simple recipe for the growth of the territory that however, also due to the inertia of local institutions, which do not make plans, deprives citizens of the possibility of dignified growth. From what emerged from the debate it seems that the funds are there, contrary to what is said, but it is not known how to use them.
Give dignity to workers and equal treatment by returning to provide guarantees to families and tools for a dignified life.
The inability of the State but also of the citizen who does not present projects, causes the funds allocated to be returned. It is necessary to educate and inform the citizen about the possibilities that Europe makes available. Furthermore, according to Dr. Tartaglione, the important decisions of European politics are left in the hands of France and Germany due to too much Italian carelessness and the absence of a valid representative at decision-making meetings.
We need to have a future plan – said Dr. Palaia – to regain our dignity. We need planning to work to live and not the other way around”. Recreate, at a national level with our intellectual, planning and decision-making skills in our country to relaunch the economy. Appollonio: “Work is the same for everyone, those who give it and those who receive it are on the same strings because the entrepreneur needs the worker to create otherwise he could do nothing alone”. With Dr. Tartaglione we took a trip inside the State that, “helpless and incapable of acting, loses its potential which is enormous, leaving workers, citizens without knowledge that they could exploit to create work and growth”. The Christian Social Party – said Dr. Pietro Del Re – must be among the people and listen to their needs. We promote dignified work and economic growth because it can and must be done”. At the final debate, Dr. Anna De Sanctis, president of the association, also spoke. Women for Safety and Dr. Angela Bianchini, aqss. Sinergicaf. Dr. De Sanctis talked about how women cannot free themselves from an unhappy relationship due to lack of work and told of atrocious episodes of mistreated women forced to suffer because they do not have a job. Dr. Bianchini spoke again about Work and Dignity and about help for those who start an entrepreneurial job.
