Thus, on her Facebook profile, the Minister of Health, Giulia Grillo, regarding the reports of rain in the delivery room of the San Giovanni Bosco hospital in Naples, recently renovated. “For citizens – adds Grillo – a hospital should be a place where they can feel safe, but the mismanagement of healthcare carried out by the old political forces has given us worn-out and often unreliable structures. We are putting an end to all of this: thanks to the amendment approved by the Senate, in fact, we are reintroducing the incompatibility between the position of Health Commissioner and any institutional role in that region. To be clear: there can no longer be a “De Luca” on duty to superficially manage regional healthcare. Citizens’ health is not something to joke about, which is why we are taking concrete action!”, he concludes.
