Maxi tax evasion of 4 million and 800 thousand euros. This morning, after an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Nola, the financial police of the Economic-Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples have executed a preventive seizure order issued by the GIP of the Court of Nola to the detriment of the company Partenope Srl, a leading company in the wholesale trade of Christmas items and garden furniture. The investigations, initiated following a tax audit by the Economic and Financial Police Unit of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples, found irregularities for the years 2013, 2014 and 2015. According to the investigations, the company used approximately 1.000 invoices for objectively non-existent transactions, amounting to over 13 million euros, issued by AG Distribuzione Srl. From the in-depth investigations it emerged that AG Distribuzione Srl was created for the sole purpose of allowing Partenope Srl to carry out, during the three-year period in dispute, a colossal tax evasion operation, resulting in having the same place of business in Nola, the same staff, and the same customers as Partenope Srl despite being administered and formally registered to front men, penniless individuals without any entrepreneurial capacity whatsoever. The various front men who, over time, were placed at the top of the company AG Distribuzione Srl, according to the most classic fraud system, did not possess any accounting documentation that had been made to disappear in order to conceal the commercial relations with Partenope Srl. The fraudulent mechanism put in place, well-conceived and difficult to identify, if not following specific and widespread tax controls, resulted in the creation in 2013 of a de facto empty economic entity, AG Distribuzione Srl, which - conveniently exploited by the creators of the fraudulent plan - allowed Partenope Srl to create non-existent VAT credits and fictitious costs that generated a massive tax evasion to the detriment of the Treasury.
