I Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Castello di Cisterna, coordinated by the DDA of Naples, have dismantled an association aimed at trafficking drugs from Spain, Holland and Germany. The investigation takes its name from a luxury car seized from one of the suspects. Another car and three motorcycles with a total value of 90 thousand euros were seized at the same time as the execution of the measures. During the checks, a Kalashnikov, three pistols, large quantities of cocaine and hashish and bank accounts were seized. At dawn the Carabinieri, between Naples, Acerra, Brusciano, Casoria, Marano di Napoli, Marigliano, Pomigliano D'Arco, San Vitaliano, Somma Vesuviana, San Martino Valle Caudina in the province of Avellino and Montesarchio in the province of Benevento, executed an order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the DDA of the Naples Prosecutor's Office against 24 suspects held responsible in various capacities for association aimed at international drug trafficking, illegal possession of weapons and fictitious registration of assets. The head of the association was Vincenzo Manauro, a 54-year-old from San Vitaliano known as "'o giornalisti" because he was a former newsagent, currently detained.
