UAnother prestigious award for Professor Ersilio Trapanese. On Saturday, November 24, in the Cathedral of Salerno, on the day of the Feast of Saint Catherine of Alexandria, “Patron Saint of the Salerno Medical School”, the Almo Collegio of the Salerno Medical School awarded Professor Ersilio Trapanese from Cava the prestigious “Lumen et Magister” award, already assigned to illustrious national and international figures in the fields of Culture, Science and Art, including: Professor Umberto Veronesi, Professor Rita Levi Montalcini, Professor Vittorio Sgarbi, Professor Franco Mandelli, Doctor Piero Angela, Professor Mikael Stark and many others. Professor Trapanese was awarded the award for his commitment to scientific research and in particular to the discovery of new methodologies for the early diagnosis of tumors, thus making a notable contribution to the discovery and prevention of these diseases, which increasingly afflict modern man.
