A Rome, Quadraro, the last illegal villa attributable to the Casamonica family was demolished during the night. The operation, coordinated by the local police of the Municipality, was also attended by the mayor Virginia Raggi. The demolitions, in total of eight illegal buildings confiscated from the Casamonica clan, began last November 20.
With the end of the demolition work, it was possible to start the restoration of regular traffic in the area. Via del Quadraro has already been completely reopened, in both directions, and the surrounding streets. The commitment will continue in the coming weeks, during which the materials will be removed and disposed of, in order to completely free up the area, which, at the end of the remediation work, can be returned to the community.
