DThis morning, the workers of the water lifting stations managed by Soteco spa on behalf of the Campania Region are in a permanent assembly. There could be problems with the water supply in many municipalities in the southern province of Naples, and in Agronocerino Sarnese. The company has announced that starting from October it no longer wants to pay the workers' salaries because the Campania Region has not recognized the company's payment of the fees due for the management of the plants since July 2017. The union representatives, Giovanni Ferraioli (Femca Cisl), Renato Margherita (Fim Cisl) and Antonio Roccolano (Fiadel Napoli), have sent a communication to the regional bodies in which they communicate their decision. The plants affected are those of Gragnano, Sant'Antonio Abate, Bonea, Lettere, Santa Maria la Foce and San Marino di Lavorate. The workers have however assured that they will guarantee the minimum essential services.
