LThe police in Salerno recovered highly valuable merchandise stolen from a lorry. Last night, the Operations Room of the Sarno police station received a note from the Nola police station reporting a lorry, the object of a robbery, that was heading towards that territory along the state road 268. The vehicle was reported as stopped for several hours in a place in Sarno. The patrol officers therefore checked a warehouse in the area, and inside they found the entire load of the lorry, 20 pallets loaded with various food products. In the warehouse there was a 60-year-old, owner of the entire building and the warehouse together with his 59-year-old brother. Staff from the company that owned the stolen goods inventoried the recovered stolen goods, whose economic value was declared at 110 thousand euros. The two men who owned the building were reported for receiving stolen goods.
