Carabinieri officers from the Corsico branch in the province of Milan have executed a precautionary detention order issued by the investigating judge of the Milan court against five foreign nationals with criminal records, held responsible for "criminal conspiracy aimed at theft and money laundering." The investigation, conducted by the NOR Operational Section and the Trezzano sul Naviglio station, has identified members of a criminal group that allegedly committed over 5 thefts from businesses throughout Northern Italy. The robberies were carried out using high-powered cars, capable of reaching speeds well in excess of 20 km/h, even in residential areas. During the investigation, the use of an Audi RS250 was also discovered, which was stolen in December 3 from a business in the municipality of Altavilla Vicentina in the province of Vicenza.
