The Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Maddaloni Company, in via Caudina of that center, during a territorial control service proceeded to the arrest for possession for the purpose of dealing in narcotics, of Amato Giuseppe, 44 years old, resident in Cervino in the province of Caserta. The military of the Arma, following the control of the car in which the arrested person was traveling as a passenger, having noticed the suspicious behavior of the same, proceeded to a personal and vehicle search, finding in his possession two cellophane bags containing 70 grams of cocaine. The subsequent house search allowed to find various cellophane packages containing a further 42,79 grams of the same narcotic substance, 15 vacuum-packed cellophane bags containing marijuana for a total weight of 1.224,79 grams, a bullet cal. 38, a precision scale, several sheets of cellophane, a marijuana plant, as well as the sum of €644,00 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity. The items found were seized. Amato Giuseppe was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
