Teano. "While we wish to overlook the delays caused by the local administrative process that led to the urgent need to approve the PUC within a short timeframe, we believe it is appropriate to share our observations on the merits, highlighting several aspects that, in our opinion, should be thoroughly explored." This is what Marianna Grande, Deputy Secretary of the UGL Caserta, stated this morning, explaining the position of the Via Vivaldi union. "In particular," the union representative continued, "we are extremely interested in the works related to the purification and cleaning of the banks and riverbeds; these are important projects that require serious and credible projects. We are, however, concerned about the projects related to the highway and railway networks. While recognizing the need to improve the logistics of a province we consider crucial for economic and geographical reasons, and expressing our interest in the employment benefits that certain projects could bring, we would like to avoid concrete pours and cathedrals in the desert. Therefore," Grande concluded, "while we agree with the rationale for parking outside the city walls and the desire to adopt a more effective road network plan, we are interested in understanding whether the proposed works are to be considered adequate or disproportionate to the number of users."
