Let's try to shed some light on the lack of waste collection in the province of Caserta. Many municipalities only after being investigated by the DDA realized that they had contracted the management of waste disposal to a company removed from the White list for lack of anti-mafia certification. It's no small thing if the Anti-mafia investigative directorate had to intervene to learn of this enormous fundamental lack. Now that ECO Car has been, for these reasons, placed under special administration, the Prefectural Commissioners are not trusted. And now the Municipality's Press Release:
“The Municipal Administration announces that it has learned that the current slowdown in waste collection in the city, due to the holding of union meetings of the staff of the company in charge, will continue into the first days of next week.
Regarding what happened, Mayor Carlo Marino clarifies: "The Administration is ready to pay the company in charge, having at heart the situation of its employees and wants to be sure that the amounts will be used for this purpose rather than to pay off the company's debt plan".

On this occasion, the Municipal Administration reiterates to everyone the invitation to refrain as much as possible from keeping containers for separate waste collection on the street, in order to avoid them becoming places of illegal abandonment of unsorted waste. It is also recalled that the illegal abandonment of unsorted waste results in the imposition of fines and, where appropriate, criminal sanctions.” Think people…
