The teenager admitted to the Sarno hospital on New Year's Eve had a very high blood alcohol level. The boy, in the throes of alcoholism, lost control of his bike and fell into the river in the urban stretch of Via Roma. Some residents noticed the scene and called 118 and the police. He was taken to the emergency room and subsequent tests revealed that he had consumed excessive amounts of alcohol. The 12-year-old, joined by his parents after a night spent under observation, was discharged yesterday morning.
