A beach resort was seized in Vico Equense.
The financial police of the Castellammare di Stabia company have seized the beach resort, located along the SS 145 state road to Sorrento, built in violation of regulations regarding the protection and defense of the territory and the coast. The officers found irregularities in the documents submitted to obtain permits for state property concessions, noting that the resort, built on a wooden platform, had undergone unlawful modifications and expansions. The Guardia di Finanza (Italian Finance Police), following investigations conducted by the Oplonti prosecutor's office, has determined several criminal charges against the company's legal representative and the geologist responsible for certifying its hydrogeological compatibility.
