The Campania Region has approved the single regional ranking of type 6.4.1 of the PSR which finances for approximately 55 million euros 321 agricultural businesses that have invested in agritourism, educational farms and social agriculture. “These huge resources – declares Franco Alfieri, head of the secretariat of President De Luca – go to finance the non-agricultural activities carried out by businesses in the primary sector to improve their profitability. The strengthening of our businesses also passes through diversification”. “In just over three months – underlines Alfieri – we have approved rankings on the PSR for a total amount of approximately 215 million euros and with over 890 beneficiaries. In particular, we have focused attention on the calls for tenders intended for rural areas. We recently published the rankings with which we allocate 38 million to 109 Municipalities in the provinces of Avellino, Caserta, Naples and Salerno for the introduction and improvement of basic services for their citizens. The ranking for the province of Benevento will also be approved soon”. Of the 109 eligible applications, 44 are immediately fundable for an amount of 15,5 million. Of considerable importance, again for rural areas, is the ranking relating to the “Collective Project”, thanks to which it was possible to create partnerships between local authorities and economic operators in the area for the redevelopment of the architectural heritage of rural villages and, at the same time, for the creation and development of non-agricultural activities. “We have funded 153 beneficiaries for 45 million euros – concludes Alfieri – These are fundamental resources for the enhancement of internal areas at risk of depopulation because they are reserved for investments supported for new tourist attraction centers and new non-agricultural activities capable of generating development and employment”. The single regional ranking of type 16.9.1 was also approved, which supports interventions in the agro-social and educational fields carried out by agricultural companies in partnership with public and/or private entities. 15 beneficiaries funded for an amount of 1,8 million euros. Finally approved: the provisional regional ranking of type 16.1.1 - action 2 "Support for Operational Innovation Projects (POI), with 14 eligible applications for 3,2 million euros; the provincial rankings of Avellino, Benevento, Caserta and Salerno of type 4.4.1 "Prevention of damage from wildlife", with 248 eligible applications for 18 million (the provincial ranking of Naples will be published soon), the provincial rankings of Avellino, Caserta and Salerno of type 7.5.1 "Public investments in small-scale recreational and tourist infrastructure", with 42 eligible applications for approximately 10 million (the provincial rankings of Benevento and Naples will be published soon).
