Dj Ravin returns to Naples: the disc jockey and producer, one of the creators of the “Buddha Bar” compilation series, takes to the console on Friday 28 June at the Post in Coroglio. Here he will kick off the Neapolitan weekend with his dance, electronic and ethnic sounds, in the place a stone's throw from the sea chosen as the summer location for events by Drop, the group of entertainment professionals composed of Pierluigi Scatola, Claudio Baldissara, Gianluca Sionne and Giuseppe Rutigliani. Born on 11 July 66, Ravin grew up on the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean and then moved to Europe as a teenager, following his passion for music. Having established himself as one of the most popular DJs in the city of Paris, he became the House DJ of “The Buddha Bar”, a club that became famous thanks to its eclectic and avant-garde musical choices. Thanks to the work of Ravin and Claude Challe, the first compilation album entitled, precisely, “Buddha Bar” was born; The great success led to the production of the second volume and the ongoing series that boasts more than 10 albums. Ravin's discography also includes several solo albums and compilations that reflect his varied musical and spiritual interests.
