The military personnel of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples, as part of the intensification of controls aimed at combating illicit activities in the counterfeiting sector, have seized 2.365 “AiPods” similar to the Apple product, on sale inside 7 commercial activities located in the eastern industrial area of Naples. In particular, the financial police of the I Gruppo Napoli, following a careful monitoring of the numerous points of sale of electronic material, present in the city and managed by citizens of Chinese ethnicity, identified a large quantity of Bluetooth earphones, clearly counterfeit, already displayed for sale to the public. The relative technical expertise on the electronic products underlined that they had not been made by the Cupertino company but were similar to the original items so much so as to be able to deceive unsuspecting customers; furthermore, the 'replica' was certainly sold at a competitive price but far from cheap, as they even cost 50 euros each. At the end of the service, the resold telephone items, 2365 earphones, were seized, while the 7 managers of the commercial activities were reported.
