AThe long-awaited pre-assignments of municipal housing have finally arrived. This morning, the prefectural commissioner, Giuseppe Priolo, signed the documents, delivering 50 homes to the same number of families. These are 30 homes in via Luigi Amabile, where the assignees of via Amatucci will go, while in via De Napoli, the 20 residents between via Pirone and via Carmine Casale will go. “We have honored a commitment that we had made in recent months,” explains commissioner Priolo to AdnKronos. “I am very satisfied and I must give credit to the work of the offices that have carried out this method of transparency and that will certainly continue to do so with this method of transparency. This is a trace that we are leaving to the next administration that, I am sure, will proceed along this path.” The satisfaction of the 50 pre-assignments, shortly after his farewell to the Municipality of Avellino, is also a response to those who, during the election campaign, used the issue of municipal housing and assignments to attack their opponent, almost forgetting that, at the Palazzo di Città, the topic is in the hands of a prefectural commissioner. On the subject, Priolo prefers not to argue too much. "We pay attention to the facts, we have made a commitment, between January and February, to make all the pre-assignments on the available housing that are almost complete - explains Priolo. Then everyone is free to think what they want, but I believe that the method of clarity and transparency used, with criteria shared together with the trade unions, has been totally linear. Then you can dispute or agree, but what should interest an administrator is the favor of the people who see their expectations recognized".
