CWith the green light for the Praru urban section on the former Italsider area of Bagnoli, the calls for reclamation and for the international design competition can start based on the urban design shared in recent years in the control rooms. However, in the area of the former steelworks there are still some areas under seizure by the judiciary for the investigation into the failure to reclaim in previous years. Invitalia, at the end of today's Conference of Services at Porta del Parco in Bagnoli, summarized the activities carried out over time and those about to start. Among those already concluded are the Integrated Characterization Plan, the safety of the North shoreline, the works of priority interventions aimed at completing the reclamation of the former Eternit area; the restoration of the fences of the landfill; the exploratory survey of pruning of the former Bagnoli Futura on via Cocchia; the validation of the characterization data; the verification and safety of the SMA overpass in via Pasquale Leonardi Cattolica, the framework agreement on surveys, geotechnical and hydraulic investigations and Phyto Remedetion and Field testscale laboratory analyses; the monitoring of the ex-Eternit area. Among the activities being finalized are the interventions to secure the area; the design of the hydraulic barrier; the Phyto Remediation test, the definitive and executive design of the safety of the aquifer; the technical-scientific consultancy for the intervention of carrying out pilot physical-chemical tests to identify the best remediation technologies; the calculation of the volumes of marine sediments; the structural investigations for the “Porta del Parco” building. The next activities that will be started are the tender for the asbestos remediation of the ex-Eternit area; the removal and safety of the piles of the Morgan Area; the pilot test of the Chemical-Physical remediation; the demolition of the SMA overpass; the public notice for the assignment of the management of the Park Gate; the advisory services for the expropriation program; the real estate advisory services for the analysis and optimization of the Regeneration Program; the competition of ideas on the new planimetric structure of the urban content of the area with the option of designing the park. The following will be started in the next 24 months: the planning of the land reclamation interventions; the verification of the reclamation planning; the definitive and executive planning, and the safety coordination of the area's infrastructure (such as roads, water networks); the reclamation works at the Ex Eternit Area; the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions of the area and the creation of a video surveillance system for the entire area; the planning of marine reclamation interventions; the notice for the solicitation of expressions of interest to invest in the implementation of the interventions envisaged by the PRARU.
