A defamation complaint against the Minister of the Interior, Matteo Salvini, for the statements he made against the shops that sell light cannabis. This morning three managers of cannabis shops in BENEVENTO went to the provincial command of the Carabinieri to formalize the protest against the deputy prime minister. “I am a worker and I am honest,” Pierluigi Di Mauro, owner of a franchise in the city, explained to Adnkronos. “I made an investment and I am trying to carry on with my work. I wanted to join a demonstration that is taking place at a national level: it is a way to protest against Minister Salvini through a complaint/suit for defamation for the statements he made against the shops that sell light cannabis. Now we are waiting for his response. Unfortunately, this negative publicity is causing us inconvenience because sales have dropped.”
