Slowdowns at regional waste collection centers: Butto srl announces delays and blockages in door-to-door waste collection. In a statement, the company announced potential disruptions in the cities of Afragola, Melito, Gragnano, Ercolano, Torre del Greco, Caivano, San Giorgio a Cremano, Maddaloni, Nola, San Felice a Cancello, Saviano, San Vitaliano, and Sessa Aurunca. It also reported "significant delays, and in some cases even blockages, in waste delivery activities at regional waste collection centers, with inevitable "cascading" repercussions on all waste collection activities, compromising their regular scheduling. In particular, large-capacity vehicles remain stuck at the plants for several hours waiting to deliver their waste, resulting in the so-called "satellite" vehicles often remaining idle because they are still loaded, unable to "transfer" the waste collected door-to-door to the large-capacity vehicles parked at the plants."
The company, in all the cities of the provinces of Naples and Caserta served by Buttol Srl, confirms the maximum effort to deal with this emergency situation. Therefore, citizens are advised that in the next few days the door-to-door collection may be subject to slowdowns. Inconveniences that do not depend on the will of Buttol Srl and that will affect all the cities of Campania, as announced by the president of the Regional Council, De Luca.
