Capaccio Paestum. The mayor of Capaccio Paestum, Franco Alfieri, just one day after the official proclamation of the elected officials, has appointed the new Municipal Council. It will be composed of: Maria Antonietta Di Filippo, deputy mayor and councilor for Local Identity; Maria Rosaria Picariello, councilor for Schools and Social Policies; Fabio Scariati, councilor for Finance; Gianfranco Masiello, councilor for Productive Activities, Ecology, Animal Welfare; Ettore Bellelli, councilor for Agricultural Policies and the Environment.
"With the appointment of the Council we are ready to govern this splendid city. Capaccio Paestum can no longer wait: from today we work without distractions, our only goal is to focus on the problems of this community. The citizens have trusted us because they have seen in us a hope for change, we cannot disappoint them. For this reason we must give, in certain and short times, concrete answers to the needs of this extraordinary territory", says Mayor Franco Alfieri.
