The surveillance activity of the Casagiove nel Cuore Group does not stop and after the reporting of the waste left unattended at the city cemetery, which led to the immediate resolution of the problem, Ferdinando Illiani becomes the spokesperson of another open-air ecological disaster.

“When it comes to the most defenseless,” Illiani declares, “we have the duty, even before as Councilors, as citizens, to intervene to re-establish a situation of health and safety.”

This time the spotlight is on the Pascoli School Complex. After the repair work on the waterproofing, the school is in total hygienic-sanitary abandonment, with waste materials, appliances and waste of all kinds abandoned in the external areas of the school.

Illiani continues: “After the unfortunate episode that occurred at the Aldo Moro School, regarding the failure to clean the school premises the day after the European elections, an event for which the Mayor deemed it necessary to apologize with an open letter, we believed that the Municipal Administration had paid adequate attention to the supervision of schools in our City. We hope, as happened for the cemetery, that an optimal hygienic-sanitary situation can be restored in a short time also for the Pascoli School”.

Illiani, as happened for the Aldo Moro School, not only worked to bring to light the situation of degradation, but presented a formal complaint to the NAS and to the Department of Prevention, Hygiene and Public Health Service, requesting immediate intervention by the competent bodies.
