Castellammare. It was a real punitive raid that took place yesterday at the kiosk in via Bonito in front of Piazza Orologio. A group of young people armed with clubs attacked the owner of the business and destroyed everything in front of them. According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the raid occurred after the owner had a heated argument, which was not limited to words alone, with a waste collector who refused, for reasons yet to be ascertained, to collect the organic waste. After a few minutes, a group of at least six young people, among whom there appears to be a direct relative of the street cleaner, went to the kiosk and destroyed everything. The police are investigating the incident and have listened to the version of the shocked entrepreneur and acquired the images from the city's video surveillance system. Yesterday, a police car was also on site, but it arrived too late. In fact, the group, made up of at least six young people, had already disappeared into the alleys of the Old Town.
