IThe Isernia prosecutor, Carlo Fucci, has requested a life sentence for Anna Minchella, the 46-year-old nurse from Ciorlano in the province of Caserta arrested for the murder of an elderly man hospitalized in the Venafro hospital in the province of Isernia. Today is the last hearing before the preliminary hearing judge Arlen Picano who will issue the sentence in the evening. The facts date back to 2016, Minchella – according to what was reconstructed by the investigators – killed Celestino Valentino, a 76-year-old from Pratella (Isernia) out of revenge against the man's daughter. The latter, as part of hospital mobility, had remained on duty at the Venafro hospital due to her father's serious illness, while Michella had been transferred to Isernia. She administered hydrochloric acid to the 76-year-old purchased, as shown in a video released by the Prosecutor's Office, in a shop not far from the hospital.
