Cinema and Psychoanalysis: with Woody Allen at Clubino to smile about 'Husbands and Wives'

On Wednesday, June 12th, at 9:00 p.m., the Neapolitan cultural club "Il Clubino" (Via Luca Giordano 73) returns with its monthly "Comedies on the Couch," a film and psychoanalysis series created by journalist Roberto Conte and psychotherapist Ignazio Senatore. The film of the evening will be "Husbands and Wives," the famous Woody Allen comedy, which will serve as the starting point for a discussion on "Theories and Techniques for Survival as a Couple," coordinated by psychotherapist Oscar Nicolaus, professor of Social Psychology of the Family at Suor Orsola Benincasa University. As always, the evening will open with a themed dinner, this time dedicated to Calabrian cuisine, featuring live cooking by chef Claudia D'Eustacchio and desserts by master pastry chef Barbara Molettieri of Antica Forneria Molettieri in Naples.

Since 2018, one Wednesday a month at Clubino (the Neapolitan cultural club on Via Luca Giordano) there is cinema to smile about the 'pathologies' of our psyche: from sentimental 'troubles' to raising children, from the manias of the technological era to work anxieties. "Comedies on the couch" are the latest idea of ​​the journalist Roberto Conte, scientific director of the Festival della Cinegustologia, with a format that comes from the experience and scientific work of the psychotherapist Ignazio Senatore, founder of "Cinema e Psicoanalisi" and scientific director of the film festival "I corti sul lettino".
As per the script of its cenacle evenings, Il Clubino brings together various ingredients (the membership fee is 10 euros for each evening): from a thematic dinner that will precede the screening to the 'collective session' that follows the film with psychologists, psychotherapists and experts on the topics under discussion to animate the debate.
