LAPELLE is not simply the name of an artistic project nor yet another discographic gamble, it is the conceptual synthesis of two musical experiences that have freed themselves from the erotic temptations of the market, the promise to one's own conscience to return light without the weight of ideological and behavioral superstructures.
LAPELLE is the natural and primordial tattoo that does not give in to the fashions of the moment. It is our identity, it reminds us who we are and who we will always be. It is a bastion of simplicity and authenticity that under the deception of artificial tricks silently resists, slowly changes and transforms, but does not deceive us and never leaves us.

LAPELLE are: Dario Lapelazzuli (Author, composer and voice; former leader of Scarlatti Garage);
Alessandro D'Aniello aka Alex D Prez (composer/beatmaker; Torreggae, A Different, ex CEO Suonivisioni).
Their professional partnership began in 2009 with Scarlatti Garage; Dario was the voice and leader of the band, Alex was the record producer. Together they produced an EP and two albums (Scarlatti Garage, Strane Idee, Ed è solo lunedì).
But it was only in 2018 that the desire to produce an album together was born, trying to unite two apparently distant worlds.
Thus, the chaotic news of collective solitude and voluntary slavery coming from the metropolis, enclosed in the cynical, ironic and poisonous language with the black and scratched timbre of Dario, are sublimated in the arrangements and in the sound of Alex, urban, warm, in a cocktail of fresh, light and dilated solutions with a bittersweet taste like dreams and hopes.
In this free zone, the two musical cultures break ranks and abdicate in favor of a frank integration, without mysticism or allegory, they protect themselves by defending their own conquests but open themselves to the awareness of the existence of still unexplored possibilities.
The landing is the departure: LAPELLE.
