UAnother electoral commitment made with the city is that of relaunching local commerce, says Raffaele de Leonardis, mayor of Qualiano. “For this reason we thought – in agreement with the commerce councilor Di Nardo, the events councilor Cerqua and with the two trade associations of the territory: AICAST and CONFESERCENTI – to promote the so-called “Neighborhood Sundays” which will start on June 22 (exceptionally on a Saturday due to the coincidence with Corpus Domini), and not on June 16.06, as we had planned, due to bureaucratic problems". The "Neighborhood Sundays" include a pedestrian area alternating in various areas and commercial points of Qualiano, with a series of attractions on the street. "These events, held not by chance during the summer, a period in which there is a need to experience the city and its open spaces much more, in addition to representing an opportunity for social aggregation and sharing moments of play and entertainment, will represent significant events for the enhancement and promotion of our territory", declare the councilors Elvira DiNardo e Bonaventure Cerqua. This is the calendar of “Neighborhood Sundays”:
