Festa dei Gigli: the San Paolino banquet of the national association Amici del Marciapiede returns

For thirty years it has been one of the fixed events of the Giugno Nolano, representing in fact one of the longest-running traditions: it is the banquet in honor of San Paolino promoted by the national association Amici del Marciapiede chaired by Giulio La Marca. The initiative will be held tomorrow, Saturday 29 June, starting at 21 pm in Piazza Immacolata. Many guests who, like every year, will liven up the event, starting with the representatives of the cities twinned with Nola and the coordinator of the Rete delle Grandi Macchine a Spalla italiane, Patrizia Nardi. And then also parliamentarians and representatives of the local associations. A great event that aims to revive the folklore of Nola in all its forms, both musical and gastronomic, with a typical menu of the kermesse prepared by the now consolidated chefs Tony, Umberto and Biagio with the wines offered by the historic wine shop De Sena and the uniforms made available by the Goeldlin collection company. But not only. A party within a party open to all citizens with a surprising finale featuring the timeless fireworks and lots of live music and the delivery of some gadgets to the party masters of all the corporations by the association's staff.
“We were the first to promote this type of event in the city, aware of the great potential that the festival offers to create sharing and socialization – explains Giulio La Marca – Ours is a partnership that has firmly in place the Pauline principles of friendship and solidarity that we try to transmit over the years through the various initiatives we promote. And the one in June is truly an essential tradition that also consolidates the synergy that is created with the masters of Festa del Giglio that is hosted in Piazza Immacolata. Happy to represent the healthy face of this extraordinary city”.
