From tammurriata to pizzica, from posteggia to popular theater: from June 20 to 23, 2019, the second edition of the Southern Italian Folk Music Festival will take place. Organized by the Museum and Royal Wood of Capodimonte with the support of the Campania Region, it is part of the "Naples is Art" project, funded by POC-Complementary Operational Program 2014-2020, in collaboration with the MusiCapodimonte association and Il Canto di Virgilio. The free-admission festival will be based at Porta di Mezzo (the closest entrance is Porta Piccola), but there will also be traveling music along the avenues of the wood.
