Gigi Finizio starts again from Salerno. The Neapolitan singer and composer will perform live on Saturday 22 June at the Sea Garden, the Club in via Salvator Allende that has always been a point of reference for live music, nights of entertainment, dance evenings and venues for great guests.
"I was looking for new musical emotions, new live, discographic and social projects. I deliberately stepped aside to decide and start a new chapter in my life, without ever leaving aside my roots - says the artist - I locked myself in the recording studio, speaking only with my piano, the only friend to whom I confide all my secrets. Now I have clear ideas: I will soon come out with a new single called "Buongiorno Amore" after which I will fully concentrate on the second part of "Io Torno", my new ambitious discographic project".
The first part was actually released in December: twelve tracks, six per section, for a record that is the fruit of passion and sacrifice and that marks the artist's return to the scene, busy this summer on a long tour around the most beautiful and evocative places in Italy. But his homeland has always been his start up.
"This year I will see the sea from time to time - adds Finizio - but I am happy to see, even if at night, the sea of Salerno, a city that is dear to my heart: I spent all my childhood in Vietri. I have beautiful memories of these places".
A predestined one with melody in his blood, Finizio, published his first album at just 9 years old and immediately hit the mark in people's hearts. His songs are accompanied by always elegant sounds that tell stories of real life; his timbre of voice, original and never banal, allows him to work also on the timeless notes of Neapolitan tradition. In Southern Italy the artist is a reality capable of attracting the attention of thousands of people: his live shows are true demonstrations of love towards the public, always ready to follow him, everywhere. And so it will also happen on Saturday in Salerno, when at the Sea Garden Finizio will dust off all his beautiful repertoire, from “Lo specchio dei pensieri” to “Solo lei”, from “Fammi provare” to “Per averti”, and then “A modo mio”, “Musica e speranza” (written for him by Gigi D'Alessio and Mogol) “Più che posso”, “Basterebbe” and “Amore amaro”, soundtrack of the film “Il principe abusivo” by Alessandro Siani.
After Finizio, the Sea Garden, the historic structure with over 50 years of activity behind it, will continue to dress in the evening, by the moonlight, of elegance and refinement, becoming the most exclusive terrace on the sea in Salerno, with its dinner show. For the occasion, the “Giocheria Garden” program has been prepared, which will see every Saturday, until September, many other big names in live music and entertainment such as Andrea Sannino, Adriano Pappalardo, Fred De Palma, Nino Buonocore, Enzo Marino Band, Via Toledo, Gianluca Capozzi, Quisisona, Mr Hide, Cristiano Malgioglio, Jerry Calà, Maurizio Filisdeo, Discoinferno, Allerija.
