One of the most beautiful traditions told in an illustrated brochure that, these days, is selling like hotcakes among the many tourists visiting the city of Nola to attend the Ballad of the Gigli and the Boat scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday 30 June starting at 10 am. The idea is by the entrepreneur from Nola Francesco Napolitano who thought it would be a good idea to include in a convenient pocket-sized brochure the salient points of an event that, for its history and faith, is certainly among the most beautiful in the world. This is demonstrated by the Unesco recognition given to the Network of Large Shoulder Machines and of which the Eternal Festival is an expression together with the Macchina di Santa Rosa of Viterbo, the Candelieri of Sassari and the Varia of Palmi.
"An opportunity to convey all the passion, love and faith of this extraordinary celebration - explains Francesco Napolitano - but also a way to help visitors on how to move around the city these days. It is no coincidence that the brochure contains indications on the Gigli positions as well as historical-cultural and technical information in a typical Nolan language. We pass on traditions while preserving their ancient value of which we must be proud".
