LNeapolitan actor Gino Rivieccio will be the next artistic director of the Massimo Troisi Award, which this year will be held from July 22 to 28 in San Giorgio a Cremano, the city of the late and unforgettable artist. Among the innovations, desired by the administration led by Mayor Giorgio Zinno through the Councilor for Culture Pietro De Martino, there is certainly a broader vision of the great genius of Troisi, which goes beyond his undeniable comedy and also looks at his dramatic art.
The competitions have been enriched with additional categories, including best fiction and TV series writing and best theatrical text, thanks to the synergy with the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome and the Federico II University of Naples (Master's Degree in Dramaturgy and Cinematography). The sections "Best comic actor", "Best comic writing", "Best comic short film" remain confirmed. There is time to participate until July 10, 2019.
