Tension and confusion erupted at Pareo Park, a swimming pool and playground complex in Giugliano. Around 4:30 PM, several mothers called lifeguards because their children had red spots and blisters on various parts of their bodies. Within minutes, the alarm spread, and other families even called ambulances. Some swimmers contacted the police; two patrol cars are currently on the scene. Witnesses reported that the pool water suddenly turned green. Doctors and nurses responded to the scene. several children, while at least two were transported to the nearby health facility San Giuliano di Giugliano. The swimming pools have been closed.
