Welcome to Caivano Castle, a sign reads, but only a colony of mice awaits you. A historic site, home to a medieval castle worth visiting, currently home to the municipal library, which holds over 6000 books. However, neglect and decay have reached such alarming levels that entire colonies of mice are now proliferating undisturbed among the rubbish.
An old Sip box has become a favorite residence for rats. There are so many of them that probably even the staff in charge of removing the waste are afraid to go near the place. A hole in the ground near the box represents their refuge. The rest of the castle is just scattered waste and grass that has not been removed for a long time, so long that it has grown for meters high. A disgrace for a historic place from the 1400s. We hope for a quick and decisive intervention by the municipal administration.
