IParis Saint Germain is working to secure Matthijs De Ligt but the 19-year-old Ajax centre-back would not have been the first choice. In fact, France has reported that an attempt has been made for Kalidou Koulibaly: Leonardo, PSG's sporting director, has reportedly sent an offer of 85 million euros to the Neapolitans, offering the 27-year-old French-Senegalese centre-back a pharaonic salary of 15 million a year. However, the attempt – reports “Le 10 Sport” – was rejected by De Laurentiis: Napoli would only let go of the defender for a crazy offer, no less than 120 million.
