IThe Lazio Regional Administrative Court has suspended the appointment of Tiziana Maffei as director of the Royal Palace of Caserta. The administrative court, with a provision published today, accepted the request for a stay advanced by the lawyers of Antonio Tarasco, a Mibac official who had participated in the competition announced by the ministry and then appealed against his exclusion from the final three. The suspension is effective immediately. The discussion on the merits is scheduled for June 25. The Minister of Cultural Heritage Alberto Bonisoli intervened on the issue of the failed appointment of Antonio Tarasco, the subject of a parliamentary question by the Northern League's Alessandro Patelli, who in a question time in the Chamber on May 29 had defended the legitimacy of the competition process ("no criticality or material error in the calculation of scores in the procedure was detected").
