Juventus is in pole position to secure the services of Matthijs de Ligt. According to the Dutch newspaper 'De Telegraaf', the Italian champions, recently entrusted to Maurizio Sarri, are ready to pay Ajax the sum of €70 million for the young Dutch centre-back. The Bianconeri, who would have thus leapfrogged competition from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, are reportedly willing to sign a five-year contract and pay the 19-year-old defender a salary of between €15 and €20 million.
