Napoli Boxing brings boxing to the square in the Spanish Quarters

Napoliboxe returns to propose boxing in the squares. Like every year, with the summer season, the company of vico Sottomonte ai Ventaglieri leaves the gym to bring the sport closer to the people by organizing events in the street. The first appointment of 2019 will be Friday, June 21, at 21 pm, in Piazzetta Rosario di Palazzo, in the heart of the Spanish Quarters. The occasion is the second edition of the Memorial Salvatore Preziosi, a late boxer who was born in those alleys.

Thanks to the support of Massimo Nota, former boxer of the Italian national team and owner of Tabacchi Preziosi, who for the occasion is supporting the sponsors of Napoliboxe, the Vittozzi dental practice and the Delos physiotherapy practice, eight boxers trained by master Lino Silvestri will step into the ring, challenging athletes from Campania and Puglia. The matches will be as follows (the first athlete is from Napoliboxe): Baiano-Villani (91kg Elite II series), Cavallo-Romano (50kg Schoolboy), Forte-Coppola (60kg junior), Dilengite-Passaro (64k Elite II series), Ottati-Crescenzo (57kg junior), Benaicha-Longobardo (54kg junior), Terlizzi-Longobardo (81kg youth), Treglia-Zinfolino (75kg Elite I series). The winner of each match will be given a “Quartieri Spagnoli” brand T-shirt, and guests will include the European Union professional lightweight champion Gianluca Ceglia.
