Naples. The officers of the Vicaria Mercato Police Station arrested a 47-year-old Algerian citizen for the crime of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing and possession of false documents. The officers involved in territorial control, on the instructions of the operations center, reached a hotel in Vico Sant'Alessio, where the computerized system had reported the presence of a non-EU citizen burdened by an order to leave Italy issued by the Cagliari Police Chief in February 2018. The officers blocked the man inside the hotel room while he was trying to get rid of the drugs he had in his underwear. From the check, the man was found in possession of 210 euros, 120 psychotropic pills, two doses of marijuana, three of hashish and one of heroin, as well as a completely false electronic identity card, on which investigations are ongoing. The man was arrested and taken to Poggioreale.
