Naples, Santa Croce al Purgatorio project approved

The City Council, on the proposal of Councilors Piscopo and Calabrese, has approved the project for the redevelopment and functional adaptation of the church of Santa Croce and Purgatorio al Mercato, as part of the Great Project for the Historic Center of Naples - Enhancement of the UNESCO site, for an amount of 500.000 euros. The approval of the project is aimed at the acquisition of the subsequent levels of planning which will be followed by the announcement of the tender for the start of the works. "With the restoration project of the Church of Santa Croce al Mercato - declare Councilors Piscopo and Calabrese - another piece is added for the enhancement of the historical artistic heritage of our city, to make it accessible again and open to citizens for social and cultural functions".
