This morning, a large number of security guards and trustees employed at ASL Napoli 1 sites demonstrated at the Campania Region building in Santa Lucia to protest Soresa's tender for the upcoming awarding of security services. This tender, which stipulates the lowest bid, fails to guarantee workers' rights. Giuseppe Alviti, National President of the Security Guards Association, stated: "This was a prompt and clear response of determination by all security guards to defend their dignity and the sacrifices we make every day.
It is a fight that has seen a large participation. The National Association of Special Security Guards is not afraid and if there are no answers together with the grassroots unions it will continue the fight"
