Napoli. The residents of the building on Via Morelli, which also houses the headquarters of the Autonomous Institute for Public Housing, at number 75, are protesting. For a few weeks, the porticos of the old building have become the “buen retiro” of some homeless people. “It is almost impossible to walk under the porticos,” they protest, “because the stench is unbearable. For Christian charity, nothing against these poor unfortunates. But it is not possible to witness such degradation. And to think that we are in front of the Carabinieri headquarters and a stone's throw from the good living room of Piazza dei Martiri. We don't understand why no one takes care of these people.”
