The framework agreement, signed by Defense Minister Elisabetta Trenta and Justice Minister Alfonso Bonafede, was agreed upon by the two ministries for the rationalization of military properties for prison purposes. It will also be applicable to other disused army facilities. Minister Bonafede emphasized that "€5 million has already been invested in the conversion of the Naples facility, and another €10 million will be allocated."
