Naples. "I feel sorry for those responsible for your death; it's hard for them to clear their consciences." Gabriella is one of the two daughters of Rosario Padolino, the 66-year-old businessman who died last June 8, crushed by a piece of cornice that fell from the building at number 228 Via Duomo in Naples. Her voice is broken by sobs as, at the end of her father's funeral, held in the Duomo, she reads a message for him. "They took our dreams and our plans from us," she says. "I hope one day I can forgive." With her are her mother, Grazia, and her sister, Rossella. Rossella also wanted to read a message for her father. "We think we have all the time in the world," she says. "Now every second I haven't spent with you seems like a waste of time."
